SLAB SAWING SERVICES

Also known as flat sawing, slab sawing, is typically used to cut horizontal flat surfaces such as floors, bridge decks, and pavement. Slab saws feature a diamond blade that is mounted on a walk-behind machine that requires only one operator. Our slab saws can cut up to 33 inches in depth and are an inexpensive solution for floor cutting and removal, trenches, and curb and gutter applications.

ELECTRIC SLAB SAWING AND ELECTRIC MINI-EXCAVATING

We have the equipment to saw up to 30” thick concrete and remove it with our electric forklift or electric mini excavator. Our electric concrete saw equipment is quiet and environmentally friendly and is ideal for indoor occupied areas. It ensures that we can get the job done, day or night, without interrupting our customer’s flow of business.

WALL SAWING SERVICES

Wall sawing utilizes a circular blade up to 72” in diameter to cut concrete at any thickness or any angle. The blade is mounted to either a hydraulic track machine or one of our high-cycle electric track machines to cut concrete vertically, horizontally, flush with any surface, on steep inclines, and many other applications. The track is attached to horizontal walls or steep inclines that will not permit the use of flat saws.

Our trained technicians have over 100 years of combined experience. Our operators will make sure that the job is done cleanly, safely, and efficiently, the first time. Our concrete cutting company has the capability of sawing concrete up to 36” thick.

WIRE SAWING SERVICES

With our diamond wire sawing equipment, Northwest Concrete Cutting and Crane Service is able to cut any thickness of concrete or steel to our customer’s specifications.

DIAMOND WIRE SAWING

A diamond infused wire is mounted on a pulley and flywheel system that is driven by either a hydraulic or electric motor. Diamond wire saws cutting is the most efficient way of cutting concrete and has no maximum cut depth. The ideal applications for diamond wire sawing are a bridge, dam, or other heavy structural demolition. Northwest Concrete Cutting and Crane Service has been wire sawing for over 20 years. From entire bridge demolition to cutting underwater piers, we have done it all.

The real force behind wire sawing is the diamond wire itself – a steel carrier cable that is threaded through steel beads to which diamond segments are bonded.
